Bumblebee

Bumblebee

Bumblebee cold, Bumblebee blue.

If I boot that around with a leather laced shoe.

Bumblebee buzz, Bumblebee fly.

Once I find out the main reason why.

Trapped in narrow margins, between anger and hunger.

I can see outside but can’t get there

Someone shut me out and won’t listen to my cry.

Feeling that there’s no way out.

Trapped between two window panes. Was I seeing double or was I double glazed?

There’s a candle that burns far too deep, There are scars that bleed more underneath.

Roaming around in disbelief. It’s like no other.

Pale blue skin it’s like I’ve seen a ghost.

There’s a truth in every little thing. Can’t underestimate the destruction, When you cause a sting.

Buzz around every room, Bumblebee.

Guess loving someone like you,

Was not for me.

I was reading this book buzzing through, until you slammed it shut,

You killed the bee.
