Each corner of uncertainty, needs an offshoot of courage!

Each corner of uncertainty, needs an offshoot of courage!

Another august passes by With dreams still cradling in eye sockets And goals still running along the circumference of dark circles Like mist it appears in front of my eyes Making my 6/6 vision, a haziness of hope Like thyme, it grows around my heart Giving only a mild fragrance of optimism Flowers erupt from it in variations of white, pink and purple Like promises giving warmth to my otherwise wilting trust Trust, is like moon It keeps changing its shape On days it vanishes as if it has ceased to exist On other days it appears like a thin bleached line Too frail for the exposure of burden But then, it changes to a crescent shaped sickle Giving hopes of harvesting Then transforms into a protractor that compels you to measure the angles of possibilities And finally it emerges with all its might Illuminating the darkness of skepticism Unzipping the sky of unachievable Broadening both, The pupil of our eyes as well as our miscalculated horizon So that the next day, When Sun elbows the windowsill of our bedroom And morning light falls on our tired determination Our pressure cooked confidence Might clutch on to the honey coloured assurance A little longer A little tighter Because august may have passed But September will always be a reminder even when we forget!
