For Summer

For Summer

Please be a little slow, oh summer !
In sunflower fields , sleep a little, oh summer !
On mangoes and jackfruit logs where bees buzz and stuck
With thy warmth lives bloomed with the grandeur of luck.
Shaking of the drunken drowsiness of Spring . All in a tune those sun soaked afternoons sing
While we are ready to dive into the fathom of reality
In different corners of this intellectual city
Of throwing unfinished papers
Into the waste basket waiting for the dream to be shaped, sharpened .

But I will remember always that the summer was of friendship
Of touching full grown spring grasses
Watching ladybugs in coloured circles
And so much those in hazy memory sometimes let pass
Recollecting Shakespeare's young summer with forever’s grace
Never letting go of the sincere urge whichever would be the time and place
To stay for the evermore.
