Lake Of Sorrow
I am standing beside of a lake
So big and deep,
Its beautiful depths have not been explored
Because its surface is dirty.
So polluted and sad
Nothing wants to live in it
Not a single fish,
Not a single amphibian.
I threw a stone
Into the lake of sorrow
Many have thrown it before-
But mine went the deepest.
The lake is now dry
The water is all gone
With it all the dirt,
Only depths we haven't seen before remain.
