YET,SHE LIVED...
She closed the door.
The knocking outside didn’t stop.
She wanted to open it, but fear held her back.
She kept walking towards the door and returning to the bed again and again.
Finally, she sat in the corner of the room, switched off the lights, and covered her ears tightly.
The knocking stopped.
Slowly, she uncovered her ears and stared at the ceiling fan, trying to breathe.
After a while, the knocking started again, louder.Her fear doubled.
She grabbed the wall like it was protecting her.
Eventually, the sound stopped.
She sat there for a long time.
Then she finally opened the door.
It was dark. Silent.
She walked to the kitchen, took food onto her plate, returned to her room, and locked the door again.
Scared, but still choosing to survive...
